If your electric storage hot water unit  is not giving you hot water to your taps,you      will need to determine weather you need an electrician or a plumber.  To save you  money from sending out the wrong tradesman, a good test you can do is to feel   the top  valve on the hot water tank if need be pull the lever on that valve and allow some water to pass through it to see if the water is hot inside the tank or cold .If the water  inside the tank is cold then you will  need to arrange for an electrician to come and change the thermostate or element but if it is hot then  call a plumber.     Preferably us.
